Wren and Thornbill

Superb Blue Wren (male)



Striated Thornbill? I think. A pair were feeding two babies - couldn't get a decent shot of that though.

It's good to see "bird on a stick" back Alan. It was getting too stressful to do otherwise. All that talk of "bird on a wire". Baaahh! Humbug!!

#1 is a classic shot. Just beautiful.

#2 is more than a decent shot. A most interesting capture of a bird in it's environment. A great capture would be more accurate.

That wren is beautifully exposed - its sooo easy to blow out the blue!! (must be the iridescence or something) - VERY NICE.

Really like the angle of number 2.
