A lonely bird

I attempted my first sunrise shoot last month but was distracted by this guy, and I am not sure why but I like this shot. I'm not actually sure if you would call this a bird shot or something else

I'd call it beautiful in it's simplicity! Love it.

(I'd level it so the line where his feet meets the water is straight, and that will straighten the line above his head as well - the resulting crop needed would also remove the dark line of dots at the bottom)

You did say edits were ok?- quicker to show than to explain it sometimes.

Then if you've taken this photo in the last month, you could enter it in this month's comp which is Reflection

Thanks very much Alan, and thank you for taking the time to do the crop and straightening, it looks great and I didn't even think of doing it which is why edits are definitely are ok with my shots, I am more than happy to accept tips and ideas from people with more experience. I saw the reflection comp which is what reminded me of this photo but I actually took it in August.

Ooooo I like this one Tania, sweeeeeet.

I'm viewing this on a terrible little lappy at present but there seem to be some gorgeous gentle colours there, really nice image.
