  • Some birds from this morning

Some of the birds from Tygum Park this morning. I need to get out and take some landscapes.

    1. Superb Fairy Wren

    2. Superb Fairy Wren on the fence. They seem to like the man-made structures over branches and twigs. I would much prefer a natural perch.

    3. Brown Honeyeater. These are very common here.

Congratulations are in order. Another fine collection. It is unusual for me to like wildlife pictures with manmade objects in them But #2 The Wren in the fence is right up there. Good one and equal favourite with #3.
Better a full bottle in front of me
    than a full frontal lobotomy.

Agree with Hans, another excellent series Alan, great eye focus. You have Photoshop, so with #2, have a play and replace the fence with a branch.

It'd be good to see what you do and compare it to my version

Hmm. I’ll show you mine if you show me yours!!
I can remove the wire and replace the branch but haven’t been able to fix the shadows on the tail yet.

Start with small selections and use Content Aware Fill. Then use the clone tool to clean it up. This one was a pretty straight forward edit so keep at it and I look forward to the final result.
      Working...
