  • Ducks enjoying the lake.

It didn't take long for the ducks to appear after the deluge filled the lake. Lots of great food for them.

Lovely shots. As you say it doesn't take them long to take advantage of changes. We groomed the winter coat out of one of our ponies today. Within minutes the field was full of jackdaws carrying off the hair for nesting materials. (and I didn't get a single shot)

        Excellent shots.

Lovely colours in #1 Isac, and I rather like the framing effect of the foreground grass.

The grebes are very photogenic and this shows it off well with an attractive colour and pattern in the water.

Always have the camera ready for these days. Next time you're out horsing around, you'll have to take your camera. No camera = no shot

It was good to see the ducks and birds arrive at the lake so quickly.
