Pink Eared Duck Family

These little ducks are always victims of the elements and other wildlife (mainly cats) and it seems there's only one baby left. They tend to hang around in sheltered areas and are well camouflaged.

They really blend in well with their surroundings. Nice shots.

Fujifilm X-T5, XF16-80 f/4, XF70-300 f/4-5.6, XF23 f/2, XF35 f/2, XF150-600 f/5.6-8, and a random assortment of 35mm film cameras.

Sad to see, but I think most ducklings go to feed the predators.

Yes Alan, very true. Some of the predators though are domestic cats and I love to see their owners munched on by something sized proportionately. Maybe then the cat owners would try harder to keep their cats on their own property.
