A Few Birds at the Lake

#1 - Crake. First time I've seen one. Similar to the swamphens.

#2 - Yellow Rumped Thornbill. Blended in well with the environment. Very small and very fast.

#3 - Sleeping Pelican.

#4 - Hybrid duck, giving me a wave.

I think you're right sbout the swamphen Alan. Sometimes the ducks just being themselves can offer up some odd looking poses.
