  • Aussie Long-beaked Corellas

    G'day all

Camped for a day or two alongside a waterhole, I had plenty of birds flocking in to drink at various times of the day. Predominant amongst them were these Corellas - flocks of a hundred+ birds would come and go regularly.

I just fired myself from cleaning my house.
I don't like my attitude and I caught myself drinking on the job.

Excellent images Phil, sharp and no blown whites which I sometimes do on white birds.

As you might remember from other discussions, I shoot JPG exclusively [edit- with very little editing later], so the camera was pre-set to EV -0,7 to avoid blown whites - and it works as planned

I usually do the same but sometimes forget, or don’t get time un a sudden opportunity. I sometimes use spot metering but that can turn the whites into greys.
