  • Spotted Bowerbird

One of the inland Bowerbirds, a bird that I've never seen before. Photographed at Myall Park Botanic Gardens.

It looks like it's really giving you the once over Alan. Wonderful poses and excellent photos.

I just fired myself from cleaning my house.
I don't like my attitude and I caught myself drinking on the job.

Thanks Isac. I had never seen one before. It seemed quite wary, moving around the pool but never going down to the water.

I was about to say the bird seems at least as interested in you as you are interested in it. Great portraits!

Thanks Hans, yes it seemed vary wary. I was in a hide but it did seem aware something wasn't quite right.

Impressed with the lighting and exposure as well would appear spot on for these images.

Thank you Hans, but the light for most of these was uneven to a greater or lesser degree, and some were against a bright background causing some under exposure. It took a bit of masking and adjusting to get them looking like this. The brightness range wasn't huge but it did need some work.
