    G'day

Noticed this fella strutting around the lagoon before preening for a while

Good pose Phil, and well exposed with good control of highlights giving good texture in the feathers.

They are a wonderful subject and this one has posed so well for you. Perfectly exposed. I'd brighten it up a bit - but that's just me. It won't affect the detail if you give it a subtle tweak.

I just fired myself from cleaning my house.
I don't like my attitude and I caught myself drinking on the job.

          Thanks fellas
Being a bloke "from the old school" where I try to put 99% of the image creation into the camera rather via PP ... the exposure included an EV -0,7 to control the white feathers, and in pp a 10% shadows lift. [coz Isac likes my shadows lifted]

It was nice of the bird to give its consent to be photographed by standing nice and still. All you have to do now is make him look a bit cleaner, I mean brighter
