The lake is full again.

3 days of good rain has filled our local lake and many ducks seem to have appeared out of nowhere.

Looking good, good to see a variety of species on the lake.
#1 seems the sunlight was hitting it a bit hard

Thanks Joe. Early light was a bit harsh, but it wasn't worrying the ducks too much

It’s good to see some photos from you again Isac.

The standouts here for me is #4 with good colour, an interesting pose and nice reflection.

The light in #1 and #2 is just a bit too much contrast with the whites in #2 a bit too hot.

Cheers Alan. Nice to be shooting again but still not got the mojo level to where it should be. It was nice to see water in the lake and plenty of ducks. Not the greatest of photos, I agree.

It was just the light from the wrong direction on the grebes.

A bit to far to walk to the other side, but tomorrow is another day. I did get a better one this morning with dark stormy light. I'll post here later.
