Newly fledged Swallow

We have in the past had numerous swallows nests in our stable yard. This year only one.
The nest is tucked up on a beam under a tin roof so in temperatures of 32C must be a bit like an oven. Thankfully the babies fledged yesterday evening so avoided the worst.
This one is sat on the edge of a water trough. Hopefully he won't decide to take a swim to cool off.

To be honest he looks a bit like I feel. I don't do hot and humid weather

Thanks both. It's nice to see them about but they've really been suffering in this hot weather. Today is slightly cooler but very humid.
