Yesterday 12-7-2024 I went out with friends who were living in my area but moved away.
They came back here and asked if I would like to go out birding with them and I took up the offer.
The shot I am posting is one of the 1st shots taken on the day and I have not got to the others as yet so I can't post them.
I got this one in a few positions and I think this one came out the best.
These are all over the Hattah area so are about and easy to get. Click image for larger version

Hello Ralph, lovely to see you back in the fold. I've missed your fabulous photos. This one is a gem - it's got all the great visual elements such as detail, framing, colour and lighting. I would love to see more. Is this from the Kulkyne National Park in Victoria?

A nice image the bird looks fragile somehow.

Thank you and I will say the eye part is something that I try to catch but it doesn't happen all the time but I do try.

Thank you and I agree as the Yellow is very bright on these birds.
