  • More shorebirds.

I like the colours here plus not too many birds oof. Sometimes if you are lucky these large flocks will kinda roll onto their side so to speak with the end result being a good number are in the focal plane.

Nice work Mick - I love masses of birds in flight. As a well read lover of Nature, adventurer and bird lover, you may enjoy a book I just finished - 'Migrations' by Charlotte McConaghy. I found it a bit challenging though

It does sound a bit challenging, and sad. Now, imagine if she was following the first ever migration. That would be a story I could get my teeth into.

Here's another birds in flight image. Gotta love it when they come in low and fast

The red cliff in background gives the image some punch. Thanks Sharon.

You did well on both Mick. I do love a good BIF shot and these are different to the norm - so worth a bit of praise.

I go along with that. I like the colours and the overall effect of the birds.

Both great BIF shots. Either would make a devilish jigsaw puzzle.

Wonderful shot and just by this shot you can see why birds of prey have a hard time in selecting a bird to get for lunch when they are like this.
I post what I photograph and what I post is how I like it.
