I took these shots of this little one at a place called Ettiwanda Wetland in my home town.
They are as I think a cute little bird and so worth while to get. Click image for larger version

    Ah Ralph ...
These are beautifully sharp images and the feathers & eyes pop out at me
    Well done

Lovely clean images Ralph. Got a few blown highlights there so maybe a fraction overexposed.

Cute little bird. The highlights are a little blown but the poses and compositions are really nice.
        Fujifilm X-T5, XF10-24MM, XF16-80 f/4, XF70-300 f/4-5.6, XF23 f/2, XF35 f/2, XF150-600 f/5.6-8, and a random assortment of 35mm and 120 film cameras.

Yer the sun was not on my side with this little one sadly. But I was happy enough with them.
I got these again just the other day.
          Thanks for your comments.

I have to agree and as I mentioned above or below just not sure where the 1st reply is going to be.
I did try to fix it but it did wash it out real bad.
We really have not had the good conditions here for a while for birding since Summer.
            Thanks for your comments.

Thanks for your over kind comment but I agree with what has been said.
I can only wish the sun played nicer on this day, as I got more the other day and they have come out better.
But they are a long way for being posted.

I just read what you have put here and went and had a read and I was really shocked to see this.
I hope it doesn't happen, but thanks for giving out this information.
