  • long range capture of Egret

About 100m away but I held focus as it came into land. These are a beautiful bird to capture and if you get lucky they can provide an artful image and I think the b&w conversion really suits here. Very happy with this. Don't always have to get close folks, this is a huge crop.

I really like how this one came out. Kinda like a watercolor painting.
    Fujifilm X-T5, XF10-24MM, XF16-80 f/4, XF70-300 f/4-5.6, XF23 f/2, XF35 f/2, XF150-600 f/5.6-8, and a random assortment of 35mm and 120 film cameras.

. I notice some ghosting it does look better when removed. Should have done the legs as well,
Better a full bottle in front of me
      than a full frontal lobotomy.

Yeah, the ghosting didn't bother me too much Hans. I printed this one and it came out a treat

Very nice, the B&W worked very well for this shot, the flight feathers look like Japanese-style ink brushstrokes

Nice work Mick. I recall mentioning on many occasions that I do love a good B&W.

I just fired myself from cleaning my house.
I don't like my attitude and I caught myself drinking on the job.
