A change is like a holiday Alan. Lovely action, similar to myself when I take a bath.

"Shake a tail feather" is a slang idiom that means to dance energetically or to move quickly and get going. The phrase draws inspiration from the energetic movement of birds shaking their tail feathers and is often used to encourage someone to dance at a party, hurry up, or participate in a lively activity. "
See Ray Charles in the Blues Brothers movie. Could also be a reference to "Shake It Out", a song by English indie rock band Florence and the Machine,
Or Taylor Swift's inspiring lyrics in Shake it Off - "I shake it off, I shake it off (whoo-hoo-hoo)"

Probably right Mark. We do a few Blues Brothers songs in my band and they always go over well, especially "Sweet Home Chicago".

Thanks Mick. I think birds enjoy a change of decor/perching arrangements occasionally. As we all do...

Thank you. I'd love to have some Apostle Birds instead of these bullies. Hardly any small birds anymore

Wonderful shot. Nice work catching all of the water droplets as well.
