Cheers David. All wonderful Aussie birds all living, thriving and surviving here in suburbia. If only they knew the joy they bring to our neighbourhood.

You have a good variety there Isac. The kingfisher is great with excellent detail, but all good, even the Night Heron/

I think some birds look smarter than others. The Kingfisher is one of them. Busy planting flowering natives to bring birds to the garden.

Kingfisher is on my hit for bird targets, I know there are some nearby me, but I've just got to find them as they are only in small pockets.
        Great clean shooting

Thanks Alan. I loved the kingfisher shot - it was only there for less than a minute and about 20m away, so the 400mm range came in handy.

You're right about the look of some birds Hans. Although crows and ravens to me don't look that smart, but are one of the more intelligent birds. I'm sure your native plants will attract birds.

Thanks Joe. I rarely see the kingfishers and they hide high up in those dense gums, making them hard to spot.

Thanks Alan. The kingfisher is one of my favourites - great when a shot just works out.
