  • Lake Visitors

There's not many species that call our lake "home" of late, just the Pacific Blacks, Eurasian Coots, Ibis, Wood Ducks and Shelducks. Now and then a few exotic breed pop in for a visit.

Thanks for looking Phil. It's nice to get a bit of variety for a change. I think the lake is now shallow enough for all these birds to get food.

Decent bit of variety. Nice shots Isac.

Cheers David. Nice to see the visitors here at this time of year. The lake is usually a golf green during summer and not a duck in sight.

You have a good variety there Isac. Your little lake does very well.

For the size of the lake it does very well. I have a large dam and barely see a bird near it. Suppose having cattle use it and no trees make a bit of difference

Thanks guys. This has been an extraordinary week for our little lake. The most variety I've seen in quite a while.
