  • Australasian Swamphen

    I thought this bird was carrying nesting material but it them appeared to start eating it.

    They do seem to eat some very coarse material.

    It does add to the interest of the image to have something happening. Having a quality image to start with only means icing on the cake.
    Better a full bottle in front of me
    than a full frontal lobotomy.

    Beautiful bird. Nice shots Alan.
    Fujifilm X-T5, XF10-24MM, XF16-80 f/4, XF70-300 f/4-5.6, XF23 f/2, XF35 f/2, XF150-600 f/5.6-8, and a random assortment of 35mm and 120 film cameras.
