    More reflection in the first but I prefer the tones on the piling in the second. The B&W treatment works well in this image for both versions.

      Thanks for the feedback Alan. These were pretty quick conversions, I also prefer the second one.

    I presume it is the one in Melbourne where I arrived in 1954 and was taken to Bonagilla migrant camp by train from the warf. Not Auckland or Hobart or many other places? Saw it a couple of years ago and visited the migrant museum not far from there. I agree with the second image. It appears a bit more dramatic.

      Love them both John. #1 seems a bit lighter in the shadows and #2 shows more detail in the pylons. 50/50 for me. With that type of photo you can even get a very cool infra red look. Can you send the original?
