  • Rings

    I spotted these bike stands on the way back to the car after the Point Ormond shoot.

    F10 60 sec ISO 100
    B/W conversion done with NIK Silver Efex.

    Well spotted John and looks good as a B&W. Tight frame sort of suits the circles.

    I also like the way you have broken the 'rules about the horizon' -- in that you have twisted the camera to a diagonal (shadows on ground) but made the virtual centreline of the circles become the horizontal. Beaudy Mate

      Thanks for the kind words Phil, the camera was only about 150mm off the ground for this shot. I'm really appreciating the flip screen on the R6, I never would have been able to compose this shot with the 7D, the knees won't let me get back up again once I'm down low. I always take a small fold up stool with me now when I go out, that makes life a lot easier.
