    Wonderful capture Phil, of how it really can be in small rural towns. You could imagine Lizzy's Deli and Groceries right next door.

      Well captured Phil, looks like a photo from out of the past. It's great that you could get it without any obviously modern items to destroy the ambience. The battery sign isn't too intrusive.

        I get these 'simple images' during my pre-brekky walks around whichever country town I am visiting
        By doing it so early - shortly after sunup, I get light and shadows p-l-u-s no people of parked cars !!

      Reminds me of my early retail days when we had 375 suppliers. Sign looks remarkably new for a country shop. Hope it works for him. It works for you
