  • Knock on your door - ring on the bell - tap on the window too ....

    G'day all

Old and peeling paintwork, bricks showing their years of sun and rain - this facade was part of a 150yr old building ... but with a twist-to-ring doorbell for visitors

    As always, feedback welcome

Looks like age has wearied this building. Great texture lovely colour.

As Hans said, great texture and colour. The second door is a bit of a distraction I think.

Well spotted and photographed Phil. Looks like something you'd see in an ancient European town. These types of images really float my boat.
PS - My band still plays that song by Eddie Hodges - recorded in 1961 when he was a 14 y.o.

I just fired myself from cleaning my house.
I don't like my attitude and I caught myself drinking on the job.

I think the Roman bricks are lasting better.

        Thanks fellas

Alan- yes the 2nd door was an issue for me too ... include? or exclude? - so I might take your suggestion
Hans - yes those bricks are wonderful to view - I suspect that the eroded ones didn't quite get the brick-oven temperature correct
Isac - yes that tune goes round and round and round and .... bugga it, go away!
