  • Kookaburras Kalling

    G'day all

The small village of Boomi almost on the QLD - NSW border and one hour's drive west of Goondiwindi offered us several days pleasant accommodation via their artesian hot-water baths and pools. On one of my pre-brekky walks I could hear the cackle of kookaburras 'somewhere' in the area. Then I found them

1)- this phone tower being the tallest thing in the area I took a guess ...

    2)- ah -- there they are !

    As always, feedback welcome
    Phil

I hear them calling and laughing almost every day Phil, it's a wonderful sound. Nice zoom to get the kookas. They'd have a superb view from up there.
