Well spotted Phil. Lovely vibrant colours and good scale. Just another wonderful man made eyesore to adorn our landscape. They should be made to make them look like trees

          G'day all

We 'city slickers' are overwhelmed by mobile fone towers / coverage when compared with 'the outback'
Telstra seemingly is everywhere (via gov't legislation ... but often the performance is poor) and Optus (being commercial operator chooses where and when to offer service)
Where we have been staying recently, the Telstra speed response is 0,3mb/sec while Optus offers 17,7 mb/sec

However, below are two images of Telstra fone towers in 'the real outback' (ie: no Optus coverage at all)
Each offers coverage 'for about 25-30km radius' around the site, with 'no service' being the screen message for the rest of the 200+/- road journey between towns
