  • Airfield Salvage Yard

Came across this small airfield on my morning drive. This airfield is comprised of two grass runways but what caught my eye was the extensive scrapping and salvage operation at this airfield. A bunch of small old airplanes in various states of disrepair were sitting in the field slowly being overtaken by vegetation.

It was an interesting place for sure. I wish I could have explored the area a little more but I wasn't too keen on wandering onto an active airfield.

Good series. #1 looks like the plane is taking off but the vegetation is saying "not so fast buddy!"
