  • Emirates in Flight

I see quite a few different planes going over our suburb. Here's a Boeing 777 (Emirates) at 400mm.

I just fired myself from cleaning my house.
I don't like my attitude and I caught myself drinking on the job.

I like the Airbus 380. Not made anymore but most are still flying. No losses

When I see those little black dots along the side of the aircraft and realise how little space is allocated to the passengers, I wonder what the rest of the space in the aircraft is devoted to - and then I wonder how much fuel is required to fly half way around the world.... fear of flying
        Great photo though!

I think the same about the little black dots. And they carry all that fuel in the wings 'cos there's no room in the fuselage!

Cheers gentlemen. All made possible with the Tamron 18-400 - gem of a lens.
I love flying. I have flown gliders, single engines, twins (always with a pilot accompanying me - perks of working for DCA back in the day).
My last flight was in a Cessna 172N Skyhawk II in a joy flight over Perth on 1st June 2016 so a fair while ago. PHOTOS HERE
I've been a passenger on many varieties of commercial planes. More chance of being run over by a bus than falling out of the sky

Flying them would be better than going as cargo in cattle class. I don't look forward to getting driven in and out of airports and sitting in a very unhealthy noisy environment for many hours. Just to take some pictures in other parts of the world.

I suppose sacrifices must be made to satisfy our needs Hans.
