  • Steam Loco No: '809' - no longer in service

    G'day all

On display alongside the old railway station, sited in the main street of this outback Queensland town, Loco '809' sits patiently awaiting passers-by.
Image #1 is the probably happy-snap that visitors see, the others are me enjoying myself with light and shade

2)- the workshop maker's plate still shows clearly

3)- Still showing signs of the red paint, the number still shows proudly

4)- The red handle for the firebox door still shines

    As always, feedback welcome
    Phil

Great work Phil. Super sharp and colourful. I love the old rail systems and locos. #1 could do with some PP to bring it to life, but that's just me as you know

Great to see detail shots Phil, more interesting than the standard tourist shot. I have to agree with Isac on #1 in this case.

            Thanks fellas
I left #1 'as-is' to show me / us / the difference between a [boring] happy-snap and a 'serious' image from the sort of result from you-and-me photographers
