    Love the spoonbill rising up .... appears to be quite effortless.
    Hope your grand daughter has her thermals on ..... or that it wasn't too cool.

      Thanks Barb. The spoonies have very powerful wings and they do look pretty graceful when they take off. The temp was about 10° and she was pretty rugged up. Kids don't seem to notice the weather as much as we oldies do.

        Thanks Mick. It was bone dry in April - one good downpour filled it up in no time. The grand daughter's little horns are just out of sight. She has to do what all the other kids do but she forgets shes only 21 months old.
