  • The Flat-Earth Society seeks new members

    Just for fun ...

The Flat Earth Society is seeking new members who are required to carefully examine the society's new letterhead logo to confirn that in fact, and contrary to many views that indicate an opposite trend, that the Earth is without doubt F-L-A-T as a pancake

Here's the proposed letterhead logo ...

You wouldn't want to be a sleep walker if you lived right near the edge!

I think the same thing when I see buildings on a cliff edge.

Is it really? I always thought it was spherical, but your image certainly puts that myth to bed! Where do I join up? I remember back in the day that I was howled down for telling everyone that at the end of 1999 was NOT the time to celebrate the turn of the century but it should be celebrated at the end of the year 2000. I couldn't believe that so many people worldwide believed it was at the end of 1999!!

Well, if we don't exist, I guess I don't need to pay any bills then! I can't believe there were so many replies in that article Ironwood.

            G'day everyone

Pleased to see such enthusiasm for the project - all donations can be made to the "Ozzie Traveller xmas holiday appeal" - bank details to follow
And GJ - good to see the backup header - plenty of room for text to be overlaid ... well done

Thank you Phil, I didn't think you would mind the image. It was shot on the flat plains just outside Coober Pedy, which is as close to the end of the earth as I've ever been.
