  • Deon's Lookout (3) - Toddy

After seeing John and Phils images from Deon's Lookout I thought I'd better share mine too. No big panoramic stitches sadly but here's my take anyway.

That's okay Toddy, I never get tired of seeing images of the Ozzie Outback.
The view from the lookout is fantastic, can't say the same about the drop toilet. Maybe it was in the state it was because of all the traffic going to the races.

I didn't visit the toilet so couldn't comment but that seems likely.

        G'day Todd

You have got a couple of panos above mate .... I'll even send you a pair of scissors to help out
As to pics - it all depends upon the time of day when you / we arrive / pass by / etc. as to the results we get

        Phil

Yeah thanks for the scissors Phil. Middle of the day never ideal but happens more often than not unfortunately.

Lovely colours and great detail in both Todd. As Aussies we live by the rule of "Rules are meant to be broken" so. in my opinion. middle of the day shots sometimes can look really fabulous, depending on the terrain - and this is a perfect example. No crappy shadows to spoil the look, beautiful rich blue sky and with natures own light source, there's no need for extra artificial lighting! I think it's the best time of day to take wonderful photos like these
