  • Underwood Park Lake

    1. Boardwalk

    I would have liked to position the boardwalk higher in the frame to show more of the reflections but it would have included a large area of reflection of the bright cloudy sky. I think cropping from the right might make the image stronger. Any thoughts?

    I think cropping either left or right could improve #1. Either focus on the trees or focus on the people.

    Lovely work wigz! For what it's worth, #1 more trees on top and less reflection, IMO only, I like to see the trees hit the skyline to give scale. Maybe a wide portrait might have been good as well. Just my own thoughts.

      No problem Isac, I'm happy to get the feedback. I quite like the portrait crop. The reason the sky is left out is that it was almost all bright overcast. I don't mind losing the tops of the trees in this case. It was the reflections and the contrasting colours of the people's clothes that got my attention.
