I have had a practice run. Will do a proper job when I get a bit of time.

Great work Hans! Just need to add a shadow to the strips. I've nearly finished a new strip which has 7 frames. I'll upload it into the existing one so if you want to have a look, just re-download it. Should be done in a couple of days.

How do you do that? Unable to find it at present.

Ah, you found it! I didn't see this at first. You can use layer effects to add some outer glow to help separate it from the background.

Select the film strip layer, click on the "fx" icon at the bottom of the layers palette and select "Drop Shadow ...". Adjust the shadow to what you want and press OK.

If you want to play with the shadow on it's own layer (stretch, rotate, opacity etc): Right click on the Layer Effect Name in the layers palette and select "Create Layer".

Also, on my website, is the "Isac's STYLES.asl" files that you can use to create lots of fancy effects on your text layers. It's on page 2 of the PS Actions page called PS Styles. Just download it and Double-Click it to install them.

Good thing I had some practice as I get to do it again.I clobbered the work I did today with repairs to a poor back up replacement to my new computer. It won't take as long this time.

Here's another idea using portrait images in the mockup. Just turn your images counter-clockwise. Polaroid was just an afterthought.

I thought I had written thanking people for their input particularly Isac but I must not have pushed the post button. I do so again and will push post.

I've done the same thing Hans, so you're not alone.
