  • Sunrise over my campsite

    G'day all

Two images, several days apart taken within 5 minutes of sunrise ... shortly after 6am

    1) Golden-yellow colours across the trees & grasslands. I'm not entirely taken with the colours though ...

    exif- Panny FZ-2500; 1/800s x F4,3; EV +0,3; lens at 200mm [FF equiv]; ISO-125
ps- pp for this is a bit of curves and a boost to contrast. No saturation has been added

    2) a little overnight mist still lingers in the valleys

    exif- Panny FZ-2500; 1/1000s x F4,2; EV -0,7; lens at 105mm [FF equiv]; ISO-125

    As always, feedback welcome
    Phil

Hey Phil, looks like a fanastic outlook.
1 - The colours are a little strong. I note you haven't increased the saturation. Maybe you could try desaturating?
2 - Looks a little dark to me.The light across the back paddock in beautiful but gets lost behind those dark trees.

Hi Phil. Perhaps make #1 a B&W and play with some colour layers over it - you'll see a vast difference. I agree with Todd that #2 just needs a bit of shadows adjustment. Lovely scenes BTW.

              Yeah good work Phil.

The attachment showing under your larger images is because it shows you have 3 files uploaded and only 2 transfered to your post, leaving one behind. Best way to fix is edit the post, delete all images and re-upload just the 2 you need - OR - if you know which image is not being used in your post just delete it from the list of uploads.
