    Every time I stand at a lookout I am left to wonder 'how the hell the explorers made their way through this lot to get to the other side'?

    Me too, and they didn't have the luxury of mobile phones with built in GPS.

          I'm sure whatever they did involved plenty of foul language. Nice shot.
          Fujifilm X-T5, XF16-80 f/4, XF70-300 f/4-5.6, XF23 f/2, XF35 f/2, XF150-600 f/5.6-8, and a random assortment of 35mm film cameras.

            That looks like a big creator from that angle to me. But I see things others don't so ignore it.
            The shot does make you want to go there and have a look at the place.
            For me to get that feeling is when you know what you set out to do has worked well.
