What a lovely place to pull up for a rest stop. These are all taken close to each other. There were people here taking drone pictures. I dragged a drone around but when I wanted and was allowed to use it it needed passwords and updates so I packed it up again. I will have to get more practice with it so I remember how to use it.

Very unique with the red mudlike rocks and the spinifex contrasting the white tree trunks. Not like anywhere else I have been in the world.

Haha It's all relative. Some locals would say it was like Pitt street. (Main street in Sydney) Fact that it has a tar road running past says it all. There would be about two dozen people that stopped there overnight the night we stayed.

I like how it turned to gold in #4 Lassiter was an old Australian prospecter who on his deathbed said he had found a reef of gold. People keep an eye out for it But the light is different to Europe a lot brighter.

My wife worked in WA in the early 70s and while there went on a flight with friends who were searching for Lasseters Reef. They believed they found it but couldn't do anything as it was on an Aboriginal reserve or something. I guess no one can prove they didn't find it.
