  • Misty Morning at McCabe Preserve

A nice misty hike through the woods at the McCabe Preserve. Its a fairly small nature preserve along the banks of the Broadkill River in southern Delaware. Quite a nice little area to just wander about. Went with a film simulation that mimicked Fujifilm Superia film stock. Mainly went with it as it produces images with nice warm tones, muted colors, and lower contrast and suited the morning quite well.

Wow you've really got some unusual trees in that area. Lots of colourful ground cover with those leaves too. My picks are #2 for that amazing tree and #5 for that super foggy shot with the tree towering proudly above the other growth. Fabulous shots. Do you live near there?

Those trees are awesome looking when they grow in clusters. Would the 20 minute drive place you in Milford?
Is that the Bolivian flag in your avatar?

Very nice muted colours and interesting trees, but #5 is the stand-out for me with the background fading into the mist.
