  • Snowy Scenes at Killens Pond

Our first decent snowfall in 2 years dropped about 13cm of snow over the area on Friday and brought some very cold air. Went out this morning to Killens Pond to try to capture some of the snowy scenes. Temperatures were about -5C and the wind made it feel like -10C. Managed a few shots in the woods.

Wow! - that's snow alright. All fabulous shots of something which is extremely rare in my neighbourhood. #3 is my pick - great POV and detail and having the geometric shape of the wheels really adds great interest.

Agree with Isac. I also like the composition and the mood in #5 Not that I would find the seat tempting

Very nice David. I like the contrast of the snow against the dark machinery.

We had 37C with 80% humidity on Monday, and almost no wind so it felt much hotter.
