  • The "Green Drought"

    G'day all

Western Victoria and some of South Australia are experiencing severe drought, and the 'green drought' is widely visible. From a distance we can see some green, but for the animals, there is little or nothing to actually feed upon. Some areas have not received more than 20% or their usual year's rainfall over the last 12-18 months. Hand feeding of stock is widespread

    As always, feedback welcome

That's not looking good Phil. In contrast Western Queensland, as far as Mitchell at least, is looking great with long grass everywhere. It's probably the best I have ever seen it.

Not a good look Phil. We could do with some rain here in the west. The lake is still dry as a bone.

I just fired myself from cleaning my house.
I don't like my attitude and I caught myself drinking on the job.
