Wonderful photos Hans. Looks very cool there. A bit close to Putinville for me!

I just fired myself from cleaning my house.
I don't like my attitude and I caught myself drinking on the job.

Much influenced by Russia here. A lot of traffic between North and South. The truckies get blamed for all the rubbish on the side of the roads.

    G'day Hans

I do like #1 for its mono + starkness of the scene, and the others - some of them - remind me of the Aussie alps in cloud and fog!

Another interesting set of images Hans. I particularly like #1 and #5.

I think the interesting shapes and stark contrast of the trees, ground and snow in #1 work very well. I would consider cropping to remove the large white area on the right to give a stronger image.

I like the way the mist/cloud isolates the interesting foreground from the background in #5 as well as the composition here.

Thanks Alan. I did look at that but decided this time that I liked the couple of extra trees. Next time I might be of the same opinion. It was the black and whiteness that got my initial attention. The reason #5 was made was that the guide and I couldn't figure out what we were looking at so I put the 500mm lens on to see. Better than 10x binoculars.

Beautiful shots Hans. Really like the contrast between the green trees and the snow on the mountain in #3.
