  • River Reflections

The Albert River at Eagleby was mirror-smooth this morning and the clouds made an interesting pattern. I couldn't find an interesting foreground without completely blocking the view.

Blue by You! Shure has colour I like it but can see a bit of struggle with the composition.

    Beautiful area Alan.

I'd be tempted to shoot the opposite bank straight on to show off that near perfect reflection.
    Fujifilm X-T5, XF10-24MM, XF16-80 f/4, XF70-300 f/4-5.6, XF23 f/2, XF35 f/2, XF150-600 f/5.6-8, and a random assortment of 35mm and 120 film cameras.

Thanks David. I did consider that but it didn't look good in the viewfinder. I probably should have tried a shot anyway.

It does look very calm and a peaceful spot Alan. I've taken similar shots on the Murray River with much the same sort of scene.

It's a very muddy-looking river but looks ok with the reflected sky

The Murray can look muddy too but it's ok for good sky reflection shots.
