  • After the Storm

A week or so ago Northern Tasmania experienced some pretty wild weather. (see previous posts "Wild Seas"). Some mini Tornados were generated which caused considerable damage to some concentrated areas. This set of photos are of the walking/ riding track I use regularly along the Don river. The first is a shot my wife took earlier of the track as it was. The rest I took yesterday.

What Alan said and a great set of photos depicting the damage. They call that timing.

Amazing - would have been scary to witness. A friend was down in Melbourne visiting family and headed over to Tassie for a week. Said the crossing on the ferry was the roughest she'd ever experienced and the seas extremely high.
