Stunning flowers and images Richard. Are these grown in your back yard?

Thank you both for your kind comments

John, they grow wild in reserves. Based on your location there are many, including these, not too far from you. If you'd like to go for a wander one weekend to check out some orchids let me know?
        Cheers Richard !

What a complete disaster Saturday on French Island was. Gale force winds and rain pretty much all of the day. Did not even take the camera out of the Lowepro. I had packed multiple lenses and filters remote triggers and tripod looking to get some really good images. Spent pretty much all day in the general store drinking wine with friends, so not a complete waste. We were lucky to get off the island as most of the ferry services during the day were cancelled. The winds let up enough for them to run the last ferry.
