  • Callistemon Flower

    I noticed that some of the flowers on one of our Callistemons was lit by the morning sun with the background in shade, so pulled out the camera and tried a shot. I waited for a while to see if I could get a bee in the shot as well, but lost patience after a short time.

    Excellent shot. I have one in my garden, its a lovely bush and flowers well. Despite being upside down..:-))

    That looks like the Scarlet Callistemon. They are stunning when the whole bush is in full bloom. Lovely photo BTW. We're spoilt here at our lake, with the Hot Pink variety. There's even one called "Perth Pink"
