  • Early Signs of Autumn

Managed to make it outside yesterday afternoon in between the rain courtesy of the remnants of Hurricane Ian. Wandered around a local woodland when I started to notice quite a bit of yellow leaves sitting on the ground that came from a Tulip Poplar (Liriodendron tulipifera). A reminder that autumn is setting in for us in the northern hemisphere.

Well seen David. Good colour and contrast between the yellow and green.

I love this type of image, something that most folks would walk past (or over). The simplicity but intricacy of such a small part that makes up our universe. TFS.
I thought you would call it "Fall"
PS - sad about Ian, we've seen the news and it look like a war zone. Give our best wishes to your friends if they have been affected.

Ian will definitely be one for the history books. Luckily no one I know of was in it's path.

Rich colours and I suppose a metaphor with the new and old.
