    Sorry for the poor IQ. Photo taken in pretty dark and rainy environment, but also through a thick perspex window.

    Such a wonderful animal ....

    As is often said with nature and wildlife you take what you can get and you got the shot. Never having seen an otter in the wild I would be very happy wth that.

    Why did I imediately think "Wind in the willows"? You've got a picture of an otter in the wild.
    Better a full bottle in front of me

    Excellent shot there Mark.
    Fujifilm X-T5, XF16-80 f/4, XF70-300 f/4-5.6, XF23 f/2, XF35 f/2, XF150-600 f/5.6-8, and a random assortment of 35mm film cameras.

    Wonderful image Mark. The IQ is rather good so improvements will come with a little tweaking. I only see them in our local zoo and they are fascinating to watch. The reeds look just like the ones at our lake but not in water - as yet

      Thanks Isac, the perspex window disallowed decent focus, it seemed to scatter the light, so sharpness also failed. Given the lighting conditions were also poor, I reckon I was lucky to get any decent image at all. I played a lot with Lightroom and Topaz to get this one, but at least we can see what it is..
