  • Amazing eyesight and senses

    I spotted these Alpaca's, some 300 yards away, and took the photo through tree branches and leaves. But they spotted me as well, they must have amazing eyesight and sense....Wow

    They're beautiful, I used to have an alpaca wool jumper many years ago (before I shrank it by putting it on too hot a wash :-( ) and it was the best jumper I think I have ever owned, they cost so much these days that I don't think I'll be getting another sadly.

          Something to do with the Mayor of Bayswater perhaps? We used to sing it years ago in my band. Sometimes very well received, other times no so well.

        Yep - like most animals, once 'movement' has been caught by the eyes, they can focus upon that point of reference awaiting follow on movement ... leading to the fight-or-flight response
