  • Wild grasses

    G'day all

Many times when travelling I see these wild grasses with their red seed-heads and they are a real bugga to try to capture
    Here's another of my attempts

    exif- Panny FZ-2500; 1/500s x F6,3; ISO-200; lens at 20x zoom / 480mm FFequiv

    As always, feedback welcome
    Phil

I'd suggest getting down lower and maybe some really early morning light

Have you thought about getting in even closer and take a shot of a smaller but tighter section of them as I have got a few shots like that it they work well.
I post what I photograph and what I post is how I like it.

First thing I thought was POV would be better down low and even include a bit of sky. Great subject.

Like the others have said, getting down lower probably would help make them stand out more. Maybe zoom in even more to really try to isolate a couple of the grasses.
