  • Before I Mowed

Spotted these 3 growing in me lawn and decided to try my hand at getting in close before running the mower over them.

After capturing this flower I thought I'd grab a match to give you a sense of the size, when I returned they had disappeared...Hmmm?
I've no idea what it was either?

These are really good and interesting as well. #1 seems fungi like also but the stem seems more flower like. Certainly can't help with the ID - hopefully someone can. There's a Steve Axford in northern NSW who takes amazing fungi photos and may be able to help with ID, he's on that other one.

There were a few back again this morning, they don't last long...only an hour or so it seems?
IQ is not the best here but I had a chance to place a match head for comparison. (This is a slightly over-sized match as well...not the every-day Redhead.)

(Think my mower blades need a quick sharpen as well, not a very clean cut when ya get in close...)

Wouldn't be putting them in a stew.. unless it's for some-one you don't like!

They are very tiny and very delicate looking.

Yes Eaglem...we've had some rain, was constant for about 2½ days. Should go out looking for a more edible variety.

Very small and very hard to find again unless I mark the spot.
After trying a few different sites without success I've sent of the details for an I.D. (Identifying things is not my strong suit)
