  • When clouds are not your friends

    I could see the clouds rolling in from the right but didn't see the ones covering part of the Milky Way - alas the camera did.

    Still... They look fantastic.
    Must be the time of year for this. I've seen many examples taken in recent weeks.

      The clouds are adding some interest for me, but I'm no purist!

        Clouds are great when that's what you're photographing, but when you want what's behind them.. not so!

          Thanks guys. My husband really enjoys star trails so I'm getting more opportunities to shoot the Milky Way and starting to get my head around processing them as well.

            I don't mind the clouds in the photos. It adds a touch of difference that is not unpleasing.
